Children's & Youth Ministries

Children and Youth Ministries at Grace Fellowship reflect our commitment to glorifying God through caring ministry and accurate teaching of God’s Word.  We aim to teach the whole counsel of God to our children and youth.

Grace Fellowship provides a nursery area for children from birth through the toddler stage.  Staffed by the women of the Church, this nurturing time is available during the sermon portion of the Sunday worship service.

Children’s Ministry
In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult to find children’s curriculum that is Bible-based, accurate and God-centered, and that covers more than just the “top 20” Bible stories. For this reason, we have adopted the Generations of Grace curriculum.  Generations of Grace is designed for children three years old through sixth grade.  Over a three-year period, the curriculum covers the historical books of the Old Testament, the life of Christ as recorded in Matthew, and the books of Acts and Revelation.  The lessons encourage a high degree of interaction between students and teacher, and the materials are adapted to fit each child’s age and skills.  The curriculum is cycled through every three years, with increasing depth as the children mature.

Children’s classes are held during the sermon portion of the worship service, and include a group lesson time, a snack time, a craft activity, and written follow-up materials for the school-age children.

Youth Ministry
Grace Fellowship has a class for middle school youth and beyond that meets during the sermon portion of the worship service on three Sundays each month.  The youth attend the entire worship service on Communion Sundays, the first Sunday of each month.  The class typically studies an entire book of the Bible together over a twelve-week period, using materials that have been adapted specifically for our youth.
